He then joined the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, studying Actuarial Science for his higher education. Polycarp Career Journey

His musical profession kicked off in 2005 when he met the other Sauti Sol members – Savara, Bien, and Chimano. They performed together and released the group’s debut album Mwanzo on 4th August 2009. Sauti Sol’s first tune was titled Mafunzo ya Dunia, which laid the ground for more of their works in later years & featured in their debut album. The album had 14 songs that received a grand welcome in the Kenyan music industry. Along with the other band names, Polycarp had the band signed to Penya Records, releasing their early music. 

As Polycarp is known among his fans, Fancy Fingers has established his solo career in 2021 and the other band associates. Sauti Sol remains intact despite the members probing solo paths. Fancy Fingers released a personal album called Father Studies that explored various fatherhood topics in today’s generation. Some of the songs on the album enclose How I Met Your Mother, Rhumba Toto, Fancy Feeling, and Lala Land.

Polycarp Personal Life 

After being married at a traditional wedding in Bujumbura, he is wedded to a Burundian wife, Lady Mandy. The partners are blessed with a son who was a key personality in Polycarp’s latest album Father Studies.
