JMJ Soccer Academy
JMJ Soccer Academy is arguably Kenya’s most promising football academy. It has handled to place three performers in top clubs in Europe. The three include Harambee stars retired captain & midfielder Victor Wanyama who earlier played for Tottenham hotspur and currently plays for CF Montreal, Ayub Timbe who presently plays as a forward for Beijing Renhe in the China League One & Johanna Omolo who plays for Royal Antwerp in the Belgian League. JMJ has a sharp training atmosphere that will help boost a child’s talent and create them the star they were meant to be.

Traning sessions

Children aged 5 to 7 years both boys & girls attend the training classes on Thursdays and Tuesdays. They go for training for one hour every Saturday from 3.30 pm.
Young boys and girls aged 8 – 13 years go for lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays and training games on Saturdays from 3.30pm.

For desiring teenage footballers aged 14 to 18 go for practice and coaching for two hrs on Mondays & Wednesdays from 4.00pm while practice games take place on weekends.

Ligi Ndogo Academy

Ligi Ndogo Academy was established in 2002 to enable young people to nurture their soccer talent outside a regular learning curriculum. It is developed as a soccer league with regular matches and exercise sessions that build a more intimate understanding between the educator and the child resulting in the youth learning more practical skills. The school caters for youths across different youth age groups having diverse teams in each category at the different centers. Here, youngsters are taught different aspects such as leadership, team spirit, discipline, & responsibility, resulting in a well-equipped performer. Harambee stars performer Ayub Masika is an alumni of the academy.


Currently, Ligi Ndogo has 4centers namely;
The major center is located on the Ligi Ndogo grounds along Ngong Road subsequent to the RUFUEA Rugby grounds.
South B center located at the Railway Training Institute foundations near Hazina Estate.

Gigiri center is located at German School Gigiri, opposite Village Market.
Karen is located at the Nairobi Academy Karen.

Junior Stars Football Academy
Founded in 2008, Junior Stars Football Academy is one of the most suitable football academies in the nation. The academy is supported by the Junior Stars Youth Development Program – a community-based organization founded in the coast region of Kenya. Sadili Oval Sports Academy

Sadili is a social business that uses sports and teaching to empower children and youth to enhance their lives for a better future. The academy has provided life skills training, mentoring and coaching to more additional than 7,000 youngsters in Kenya. Uweza Soccer Academy
The Uweza Soccer Academy presents young boys and girls removed from the slums of Kibera an option to participate in coaching training sessions and well-structured games and tournaments. The present Uweza teams include under 8/ under 10/ under 12/ under 14 & under 16 for boys. For girls, the choices available are under 12 /under 16. The Uweza Foundation operates the academy. This community-based organization seeks to give a forum to the less fortunate yet qualified slum players an chance to sharpen their skills in a more structured environment. Both the Uweza Men & Women FC senior squads participate in the Football of Kenya Federation’s Nairobi County League.

FISA Academy

Friendship International Sports Academy (FISA) is an institution that was established in 2006 by Dr. Maurice Awang Owuor & Mr. Amit Shah who are its managers. The academy draws gifted children from neighboring hoods like Mukuru Slums, South B & Makadara. It has three coaches Wedson Waweru, Charles Hammington & Mickey, who are highly qualified with over 10 years of expertise in the coaching specialization. Players enrolled at the facility benefit from football training and crucial life skills that help them avoid the rampant peer pressure in the hoods. The institute has over 100 players playing in various categories including Under 8- 10, 12- 14, 16- 18 and under 23.

Training sessions

Training sessions happen on weekdays from 4.00pm – 6.00pm and from 2.00pm – 5.00pm on Saturdays & Sundays.
Accomplishments Of FISA Academy
In 2011, FISA symbolized Makadara constituency in the quarter-finals of the Safaricom Sakata Ball contest held at City Stadium.
Twice Semi-Finalists in the Under 20 East & Central Africa Football Championship held in Arusha Tanzania in 2008 & 2009.
In late 2009, FISA was the Silver medalist in Zone B Football Kenya League Super League.
In mid-2008, FISA Academy won the Impala Football Tournament in under 10 and under 12.

KYSA international Soccer Academy

The KYSA international Soccer Academy is a schedule that aims to entrust young people through sports to allow them to fulfill their true potential, enhance their true potential, and enhance their lives through training and growth. Hearts Of Ruiru Sports Centre
H.O.R.S.C was founded in 2012 by Mary Mbeki. It started as a small football team of under 13 years boys and became a fully functional sports academy. The under-13 team which is the most well-known and vibrant of all participates in the Federation of Kenya Football (FKF) under-13 league. The Under-17 team plays in the Ruiru Sub-county league. Its primary aim is to bring up a epoch of professional players who are disciplined and hardworking under Christian weights.


Developing children’s good character through whole life coaching as we handle social issues like drug and substance abuse & juvenile delinquency.

Liberty Sports Academy
Established in mid-2008 by Accra-based businessperson the late Alhaji Sly Tetteh and retired Harambee stars coach Jacob Ghost Mulee, Liberty soccer Academy is arguably Kenya’s most promising football academy. The club began their first season in the Nairobi County League in late 2011 and the Nairobi Provincial League in early 2012, winning both leagues unbeaten. Liberty was elevated to the National Division 2 in early 2015 and National Division 1 in late 2017 as they were crowned overall champions. Kenya’s current captain and Al-Duhail striker Michael Olunga is an alumni of this academy.


Their home stadium is Camp Toyoyo found in Jericho, Nairobi. The stadium is capable to hold up to 1,500 people.
